About Antoine Savelkoul

As far as I can remember, my interest for technology has always been extremely high. Since 1998, when I started with the MBO (Upper Secondary Vocational Education), I’m primarily focused on computer science. Since this time I’ve had some side jobs in software development and done five internships (including final projects) at quite well known organizations: Temtec (now part of Applix), Fontys Universities, Philips Research and Avanade.

My passion for modeling and automating software development came in 2003 when I used XML Transformers to process documents. “Why not apply these transformation techniques to software development?”. It was a presentation on DSLs in 2005 that brought me to Avanade. After one successful completed final project on DSLs at Avanade, I’m currently doing another final project for my Masters degree on DSLs and Software Factories.
